Thank you to Katie Wright and family for your generous donation to Miracle Point! Katie just finished her 8th grade basketball season and had a deal with her grandma that she would get $1 for every point she scored this season. After her team won the NKMSAA 8th grade championship, she couldn’t wait to call Coach O’Hara to tell her about the deal and share she scored 250 points this season, so she wanted to donate the $250 to the playground. Congratulations Katie on a successful season and thank you so much!
HUGE NEWS!!!!!! In the past FIVE DAYS we have had three more pieces sponsored! The platform swing and both 5-point harness, high-back swings “Inclusive swings” are now sponsored!!! We will be sharing about the organizations, businesses and families sponsoring these pieces in the days to come but we couldn’t wait to share our excitement so each of you can be excited too!
Specific pieces are beginning to get sponsored!!! Both generation swings! Both belt swings! Both benches! The cabasa musical instrument! The double zip line! We are feeling blessed and thankful as we start off the year! EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT! The MegaTower is sure to be the main attraction at the playground! With ramps up to levels for those with physical limitations. Slides for younger children or those with special needs. Climbing bars and a "super slide" for those who are brave enough to climb to the top! A rock wall panel to challenge athletic ability. EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT! This is called the "Glide Along" but you may recognize it as a zipline! There are two zipline paths. One has a rope with a disc attached at the bottom for a person to sit/stand on. The other zipline path has a high-back, 5-point harness seat for a person with physical or mobility needs to sit in and be pushed.
